Full single track listing:

1)  Karma is a Bitch
2) A Little Bit of Reggae
3) Virus (Acoustic Version)

Their recently released, brilliant self-titled album was produced and mixed by Peter Miles (Futures, We Are The Ocean, The King Blues), and massively built on the band's previous reputation for progressive, genre-hopping punk rock, by adding contemporary electronica, crushing rock riffs, huge vocal hooks and anthemic song-writing to the mix. It’s a HUGE step forward in every aspect for the band, and one that will rightfully establish them as one of the most exciting new/old prospects in the UK.

SONIC BOOM SIX are:

Laila K - Vocals
Barney Boom – Vocals
Nick Horne - Guitars
James T Boom - Bass and Synths
Neil ‘Macca’ McMinn - Drums and Samples

Larry & His Flask Are Coming...

Brand New Album ‘By The Lamplight’ out 24th June 2013 / Plus a huge European Tour!

Following on from the release of their recent EP ‘Hobo’s Lament’, Xtra Mile Recordings’ newest signings Larry and His Flask announce details of their forthcoming full length album.

The six-piece from Oregon, USA will release their outstanding sophomore album ‘By The Lamplight’ worldwide on24th June 2013 further spreading the gospel of their infectious and frenetic homespun country/anarchic punk.

They are currently winning over the hearts and minds of UK and Europe as they’re rip it up on tour with Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls as well as playing a HUGE run of headline shows. Converts are coming in thick and fast. Full list of dates over-leaf. They will return to the US for a full North American Tour that sees them criss-crossing the country non-stop until September.

For the uninitiated, Larry and His Flask make music that lies somewhere between a barn raising and a mosh pit. The New York Times calls them "uncommonly joyous" and "deviously astute", while their live show is a "breathless, polymorphous good time."

Originally conceived as a four piece punk band, the group has swelled into a fully realized quintet with strong Americana influences complete with stand-up bass, mandolin and banjo. Their live act is not to be missed - unlike any other band playing music today, Larry and His Flask truly incorporate their audiences into each show, connecting to create an experience that converts everyone into fans and permeates the border between performer and spectator.

Performances see members careening wildly across the stage with instruments, narrowly avoiding harrowing collisions amongst themselves and frequently trading said instruments mid-song while still maintaining pitch-perfect 4-part harmonies.

XMTV were on hand at their London Forum show to film a short intro:

Larry and His Flask are:

Jamin Marshall (drums, vocals), Jesse Marshall (bass), Ian Cook (vocals, guitar), Dallin Bulkley (guitar) and Andrew Carew (banjo) and Kirk Skatvold (mandolin).

Managing Director of Xtra Mile Recordings Charlie Caplowe says:

“Saw this lot in the States last year and was blown away by their frenetic mad bluegrass/punk. From that moment on I couldn’t wait to release their music on Xtra Mile and get them over to here to play. Go see. Go buy!”

The band says:

“We couldn’t be happier joining the Xtra Mile family.  We’ve held off releasing our music outside North America for far too long, waiting for the perfect fit.  We are sure that we found our match.”
